The Sands Of Time MMXI
2011 is almost over, just hours minute and seconds remain, no longer to have days or evenings left. 2012 is pushing through, crowning,if you will, into being. Perhaps it’s a new dawn, or a setting sun, I am not sure what this new year will hold, and just like the last I will not make a prediction for what so many month could possibly hold. The one thing I am will wager is that it will in...
Netting
I was playing around with a vintage hat that I picked up at last fall’s Brimfield show. The hat is a hard hat to wear because it’s so old and the viel is so large and white.. but I love it none the less. The hat is a fine straw with velvety flowers upon top. I will be sure to share more photos of it once I find just the right outfit to wear it with.
Mohair Loops
Back when the sun was still out past five, and the leaves gently swayed in the summer breeze, is when me and this lovely sweater crossed paths. I couldn’t resist it. Although wearing it some how makes me feel someplace between a snowman and Marilyn Monroe. It’s certainly sweater weather now, and although I didn’t leave the house today, which is reason enough fo me to not wear...

Dark Frozen Waves
On the shores of Plymouth, the bay rolls in and rounded stones part the sand. The air is cold but the salt in the air is heavy. The lull of the waves, the distant call of the cormorants perched on large boulders, it’s like a siren’s call, pulling me to walk somberly into the salty dark water with no regard for decembers icy grip. It’s peaceful here, with the only other bodies...

Sweet Red Voice
Just a few weekends past I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with the enchanting Marissa Nadler. She is a lovely creature with an even more lovely voice. I feel honored to have worked with her on these shots for her soon to be released ”sister” album. Her songs seem to haunt around me when I listen to them, so it’s no wonder why we seem to work so well together.

Middle America
The last month and a half have been busy to say the least and I just have not had the chance to fill you all in on whats been going on. Back in November I was in St. Louise with my girls Emily and Sam working on cleaning up the Donnaland warehouse. That’s part of it in the photo up there. It’s in the old haunted Lemp Brewery.( we even had to rescue Donna from the haunted floating...
