Heart Of Gold
Just about one month ago now I had the great pleasure of working with the fledgling company Heart Of Gold. From the mind and hands of Heather Wells and Gillian Chadwick come some of the best headwear I have seen in ages. They specialize in exquisitely curated vintage and precious materials, designed in modern romantic pieces that are genuinely heirloom quality. They believe that the crown should...

The Last Gasp Of Winter
I want to apologize for being such a bad blogger, I have, you could say, been hibernating. It just gets too easy to use intstagram and not get out an actual camera. I am going to make an effort to be better. I promise.
It’s been too long since I shot black and white, I don’t know about you but my first soirée with photography was with an old 35mm canon and black & white...
The Circle: take one.
I intend to come back to this theme, once the weather does not freeze my fingers and toes.

For Strange Women
Back in the heat of summer the ladies over at For Strange Women sent me a little care package. It was three little samples of their scents. They included little cards of each scent with eloquent descriptions of each one and the major notes of the scent. Little photo cards and even a little match booked spilled out on to my table and in a little brown box lay, Decadence &...

Leaves and Knits
So I honestly can not remember the last time I did an outfit post over here. It was probably some time back in the early summer. It’s just that, well with most things, life gets busy in those warm months, beach adventures, flea markets, art projects and photo shoots, seem to take over and the time to take photos of my outfits is just not there. I am also going to let you know...

Imaginary Adventures Of Past Haunts
It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost six years since my last venture north to Salem New Hampshire. In a little New England in southern New Hampshire, just an hour or so away from the more well known Salem MA, is the home of America’s Stonehenge. They have the site dated as being about 4000 years old and they frankly have no clue who build the structures, which...

All Apoligies
The end of summer seems to have snuck up on me, knocked me over and trampled me under foot. In other words I have been so busy. I am, mark my words, going to make a better effort to up date this space more often. I think my camera is done being broken, which is part of why we haven’t spoken in a while. In the mean time I have to drop off rolls and rolls of film from the last...

Fading Summer Sale
The summer is fading and it’s time to gear up for crisp fall air, apple picking and school. It’s also time to make room for new goodies in the shop so until Aug 27th everything in the shop is 20% off with code “class” at check out. I even put some fall time favorites on the front page of the shop for inspiration.

One of Fifty Nereids
One of fifty nereids, from the depths of the silverly cave, keeper of the sea, the brine, and foam. For I am lost here on this rocky shore, guide my bow, and protect my hull till the open sea cradles me.

New Threads
Hello Lovelies, it feels like so long since I last updated my shop, but I have now, and I am even in the process of giving the shop a bit of a face lift. I hope you all like it and find it easier to see the garments and what they are all about.
In other news I have started a part time job as the costumer for the Monson Summer Theater’s production of Grease. It’s my...

Along The Banks
Among ferns, soft river grass, and the scent of dogwood, we wound our way along the banks of the swift. We collected flowers and watched the magic of gold finches dart between pine boughs. The heat is banished from the river side by the cold air gently sweeping off the water. This is the place we never want to leave.

The Salt and Sea
Once summer rolls in bringing the hot humid air the only thing my mind can truly focus on is the beach. I was a lucky young girl and had the great fortune of spending my summers on the Rhode Island coast. I spent long summer days in the sand and dashing through waves. It feels like home to me, that rocky new england coast. I find myself longing for it even when the snow is on the...

Rock Out
just the other weekend I got to head out to the Flywheel to catch one of the better live shows I have seen in a long while. I grabbed a few shots of the bands, had a lot of laughs and rocked the hell out.
The line up was great. Local band Dust Witch started the night. This was the second time I have seen them play and let me tell you.. if you are into italian style prog. (like...

Fire, Air, Earth, Water, Spirit
Back in April I mentioned I was working on a video for Light Witch. It seems like time has been flying and that we just shot this. After a long windy road trying to edit this little project together, it’s almost done and I am super antsy to share it with the world and get to work on some new video projects. The sound track is being written and composed by Alec K. Redfearn (who as...

Dreaming of Africa
A few days ago I had the pleasure of shooting with Shane before he moved to NYC. We had a blast and combining our two wardrobes worked out like something purely wicked. We shot a few different looks. This was the the first one we shot, an early 20th century adventures in Africa feel. I will keep you posted on the rest, we even took some of both of…oohh.

Lady Land in the Green House
Last week I had the devine pleasure of meeting up with Kater from All This Happiness. We live about two hours from one another, so we meet up in a cute little new england town in the middle. We nabbed some lunch, meandered through gardens and green houses, sipped on mint tea, gazed at art and shopped for vintage dresses. It was a full day, crammed with great conversation and many overly...
Goddess of the Forest
Back when it was still rather cold out and being crafty was a sure way to keep my cold hands warm, I made these Goddess of the Forest necklaces. They are made from the points of white tail deer antlers and have different types of quartz on them. I have made a hand full of them and have them listed in my shop. I hope to make more soon, but it’s only when I find antlers, and...

Humid Air
I hope you all are enjoying your weekends, and for those of use in the states the LONG weekend at that. Summer seems to have stretched her arms all around us here in the north east, the sun is hot and beaming until late hours of the evening. The air is thick and heady with the smell of wild roses. Thunderstorms are rolling in and I even caught my first glimpses of fire flies last...

Mercitron Gone Galactic
A while back now I had the great pleasure of working with Keri and Luis from Mercitron on some photos for their newest project “Gone Galactic” which you can hear here. Keri and I talked out what her visions were for the shoot and our ideas just blended into something magical. Keri and Luis made these great cloaks by hand, enlisted some help of their friends Bethuny and Rosa...

Beep Beep
Few things in life are more exhilarating than the feeling of the wind in your hair, the open road and the smells of country side hitting your face. About four years ago one of my best friends was looking for a long term home for his Vespa. My home was a fit and over the last four years I have been zipping around the pioneer valley on this little pearl Vespa ET4. I have been...

Brimfield in Review
I feel like such a bad blogger having not kept you all up to date over the last week. It was for a good reasons though. It was the first Brimfield of the season and I was helping my friend Donna of Donnaland work her tent. It was such a blast and lots of hard work. My favorite part is all the amazing ladies I get to spend time with while surrounded in vintage heaven. I was...

Hi Jessica, for my readers that may not know what your all about can you tell us a little bit about who you are and what you do?
Sure thing. I’m in my 30‘s and currently live in Boston (after a brief stint in Western Mass and many years in Chicago) where I spend a lot of time wandering with my dog in cemeteries and the woods, reading, listening to records and attempting to play the...
